Long-Term care (LTC) ombudsmen are free-of-charge advocates for resident rights. If you have a question or concern about somebody living in a nursing or assisted living facility, you may contact an ombudsman by calling 800-252-24122 or visit the website for the Office of the Long-Term Care Ombudsman here.

answer questions and help you resolve a complaint about the Home and Community-based Services (HCS) program, the Texas Home Living (TxHmL) program, or local IDD authority services.
